RetroArch v0.9.8 PS3 graphical emulation for CPS issue

I’ve cheacked all my Capcom CPS1 and CPS2 fighting game roms with FB Alpha 0.2.97.28 Release and they are OK and do load up except for SFiii3, but what I want to express is that there’s a white blinking line on the right of the screen on any CPS rom I play. I’m using 1080p on my HDMI PS3 CFW Rogero 4.30 v2.05 on my Sony Bravia HDTV. That whiteish yellow blinking right side line on the screen line isnt too bad, but the parallax scrolling emulation is off and or not working right for Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting and I noticed in Final Fight. Its like the 2D layers is off on the wrong layer. Has anyone else noticed this?

Going to revert most of the major changes I did to the CPS drivers - guess it’s better for it to be slower than to accidentally break stuff.

Also, the PS3 version right now is semi-broken - I’m going to push out a new version. Sorry for rushing things on the console front - the Android version was where 90% of all the attention was going to for this release.

Take your time and do what you need to do to make fixes for the PS3 version. I can always play my Capcom CPS1/2 games on my iMac with no problems.

I can’t seem to get any street fighter titles to load and these are all USA roms. (CPS1/CPS2). I receive the message error loading rom

Other titles like final fight and Cadillacs and dinosaurs load and work fine.

You have outdated ROMs. It is not my problem that FBA chooses to continually sync their ROMs with MAME latest romset. It is your own responsibility to keep them up-to-date whenever a new version gets released.

I see 0.9.8.1 for CFW 3.55 is out. Can I just take out the fba core from that version and put it in CaptainCPS-X FBA RL?

I see this issue is resolved. But how to enter into service mode for CPS1/2/3 games so I can change difficulty and set to Free play?

Press Start + L + L2 + R + R2

Thanks, that works for CPS2 and CPS3 games, but CPS1 games you can see the test menu (Example: SF 2 Hyper Fighting), but not make any changes because CPS1 motherboards relied on dip switches. Unless theres another way? Where does RetroArch FBA core store the saved CPS2/3 Test menu settings EEPROM?
