RetroArch without jailbreak - Xcode no longer requires developer account

The latest beta version of Xcode seems to do away with requiring a valid Apple developer account for deploying apps onto a physical device, so anyone can compile and install an app onto their iOS device as long as they have the source code/Xcode project files. Does this mean that in the future RetroArch will be more readily available to iOS users without a jailbroken device? (minus dynarec/JIT cores)

Yeah, should be. AFAIK, if you go download the Xcode preview, you should be able to do it right now.

This will be very fun to test out.
