Retroarch goes to a blank screen and hangs,I need to end it with task manager.
Can I just play from the discs loaded into my dvd drive?

You can try, sure. Can you get a log of the black screen you get when trying to load your dump?
I forgot to use the Beetle core.
Duh,all working now.
Was using the reARMed and Beetle HW cores before.
