Rom is left unzipped (mednafen_pce_fast_libretro.dll)

When using the mednafen_pce_fast_libretro.dll core to run zipped PC-Engine roms, i noticed that after quitting Retroarch (v1.3.6) the rom is left unzipped in it’s directory.

This doesn’t happen with mednafen_supergrafx_libretro.dll core.

A bug?

That probably means it’s not closing successfully and thus never gets around to cleaning up after itself. We’ll look into it.

Does your log say anything interesting?

Executed from cmd: retroarch --menu --verbose >> log.txt 2>&1 but the log.txt is empty when i quit. It doesn’t crash, it simply leaves the rom unzipped in the roms folder.

This happens to me too and not only with PCE games but also with Neo-Geo Pocket games.

But for some reason, it doesn’t happen when i run RetroArch through the QuickPlay frontend. The error appears when i use RetroArch itself or Launchbox and Hyperspin. But when i use QuickPlay the rom gets deleted normally, as it should. Maybe QuickPlay takes over the unzipping part instead of RetroArch? Well, it’s another reason i love this frontend compare to any other.
