Run ahead latency option on nestopia android shield tv

hi, do you manage to apply this option on nestopia on shield tv android? the audio crackle with the option enable. I don’t have this problem on sn9x or genesis plus gx is there any other settings to avoid this crackle ? thanks

Try using FCEUmm instead of Nestopia. I believe it’s had some changes that make it more resilient.

Speaking of Run-ahead is there a current RetroArch list of Cores that work well with run-ahead using Android that you know of?

All of these emulator cores come from different projects and are programmed with different levels of compatibility, speed, emulation accuracy, etc. In other words, there is no real “perfect” emulator out there.

The main ones are FBNeo, Snes9x, Picodrive and FCEUmm.

Thanks I have long used Nestopia, looks like I’m switching RetroArch to FCEUmm :smiley:
