Hi, I would like to knows if the latency is the same between retroarch pc and retroarch android shield tv. I would like to test different run ahead latency settings on pc, then apply results on my shield tv android with the same results. thanks for your confirmation regards
The number of run-ahead frames is something that has to do with the frames of delay inherent to each game / content, so it can be set “objectively” regardless of the OS you are using RetroArch on.
Example: Super Mario World on SNES will always inherently lag 2 frames behind when using most (if not all) cores, be it on Windows, Mac OS, Android or any other OS environment.
