Run ahead on PSX bettle HW causes graphically glitches and crashing

Have noticed with run ahead enabled when trying to use PSX bettle HW it causes graphcially glitches and crashes if its disabled then it runs fine. Is this a know issue?

Yes, basically any of the cores that don’t work with netplay also don’t work with runahead, since those features work very similarly under the hood.

Is there any likely hood that run ahead will get implemented in the future for the core?

I don’t think anyone is working on it, but it’s possible.

Actually the main cause here is hardware renderers - runahead just does not work well with that so far. That’s why nearly all of the runahead-enabled cores are software-rendered.
