Save Directory changed?!?

I just updated to 1.6.7 and everything is working great…

EXCEPT the default directory for savefiles and savestates is no longer “Content Directory” Meaning, before it would put all my saves in with my game files.

Now, it defaults to a save folder inside retroarch… and I can’t get it to change back.

I altered the retroarch.cfg file to have them listed as “default” just like my old config, but this didn’t change the directory at all…

How do I fix this? I don’t want saves bloating my RetroArch install folder, and I already have a ton of saves in my game folders where I want them. Not to mention it would be a huge task to go in there and find all the save files and move them to a whole other hard drive.

Read the “Configuration changes - Saving Stuff on Content Dir” part at the bottom.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I do think the new setup makes sense as a default, I just couldn’t figure out what to put in there to switch it back on mine hahaha. Didn’t expect it to be a toggle lol

I missed a few versions so that notice just slipped under my radar.
