I’ve tried several PS1 Roms (Spyro, Spyro2, Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Bandicoot Warped) and I have not managed to get any of them to save the in game saves into a directory to load after closing the application. Right now I’ve got the SCPH5501 BIOS loaded in the system file. What else am I missing to get game saves to work properly? Thanks.

So, when you do an in-game save and then quit via the ‘quit retroarch’ menu option, it creates a file in your save directory but this save isn’t recognized later? If so, try changing your save directory to somewhere other than ‘default’ that you know you have write privileges to (for example, your desktop).
