Scan Directory doesn't work on RetroArch 1.6.6

I had some crash problems when scanning directories in RetroArch 1.6.4. I did the same tests in 1.6.6 (fresh install) and now it does not search. I’ve tried in every directory (Atari 2600, GBA, NES…)

This is what appears when I search for new files in the directories.

We’ve just gotten some reports of this and are in the process of pinning down how widespread it is. We’ll hopefully have a hotfix release pushed out soon.

Thanks for letting us know.

The fix is in as well as a few other things that were found and should be part of 1.6.7 that will be released later today.

The problem is widespread. And incredibly frustrating. Thanks for addressing the issue.

Still not working in the nightly from 17.08.2017 - wonder who it should be fixed in a today released 1.6.7 it is even not in the nightly!?

https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.6.7/

Here worked perfectly (Windows version)

Yep, 1.6.7 wasn’t on the main site for a while, had to pull it from the buildbot page @p0ng linked.

And yes, scanning is now working. Thank you dev team for the quick fix action.

Yes, Im having the same issue ca

Scanning of archives was just recently fixed after 1.6.7 was released, so please try the latest nightly.
