I’m using RetroArch on my SNES Classic, and I was wondering how I can make the screen sharper since all the games I play have screen smoothing which I don’t want.
settings > video > bilinear filtering OFF

Bilinear filtering is set to off, and for some reason everything on the entire consoles seems to be this way not just games emulated in retroarch.
Could it have something to do with how your display is scaling the 720p image to 1080p or 4K (as the case may be)?
I have a 1080p TV. I guess I could check if that’s the problem, but before I put retroarch on it I don’t remember the image being smoothed, I could be wrong though.
