I’ve been using Retroarch on Android for a year or two, this is my 3rd Android device on which I have used it and have never had this problem.
I bought this phone (Samsung Galaxy J7) a couple weeks ago and Retroarch was one of the first apps I downloaded and everything seemed to work fine. I’m not sure if there was a new update or a setting somehow got changed but screen rotation no longer works for this app although it does work for the phone itself. I have even tried a reinstall to see if that would fix the problem.
I found the screen rotation option in the core settings and it is set to allow screen rotation but will not function in the menu nor when I have a core loaded and a game running. I have also tried turning it off to see if that would make a difference but it has not.
