I can’t get retroarch to detect my sega cd games when i do the scan in retroarch. I have the bin and cue files zip in a file and retroarch reads the file but no playlist is created. I need help please 
That’s because there is no database for Sega CD so it can’t scan them.
ok, thanks for the info. Why did they skip such a pividal platform when they support so much else?
You can still play Sega CD games you just can’t scan them and make a playlist.
