Shader issues

for some reason, my favorite shader crt.geom slows down after a few mins of play on SNES9X. i have a Galaxy S8+, so the Adreno 540 should be capable of running this. i’m also unable to change shader settings when i load up a preset (is this intentional?), so i can’t even troubleshoot it.

also, crt.royale doesn’t do anything. everytime i try to load it up, it just flashes back to the menu, and i see that my current shader is still unchanged to royale. is this because the android version doesn’t support it?

oh, and has anyone ever posted side by side comparisons of all shaders? would be cool to see the little intricacies of each.
