The Snes9x core runs ok for the most part, sans some slowdown here and there, but if I play using MSU1 tracks, the audio stutters badly a lot. I’m using no shaders or anything. Is there any reason for this? And can it be backported to 2010 or 2005? I’m using a Wii, not WiiU.

I wonder if this is related to the audio crackling during sound effects that I’ve found across all SNES cores on UN Squadron (one of my favorite games).
