[SOLVED] Cores show as something.so.zip in Core Updater

Hey guys! On my desktop PC, when I open the Core Updater, all the cores are shown as:

2048_libretro.so.zip 3dengine_libretro.so.zip …and so on.

The problem is, those are quite confusing. I selected “Update Core Info Files” and it downloaded “index.zip”, but the Core Updater still shows these filenames instead of the proper core names.

How do I enable the core names? They’re fine on my laptop PC.

Both machines are running RA 1.7.8 on Linux Mint 19.2.

Just found the solution! The Core Info directory was set to something in /usr where a normal user doesn’t have access. I set the folder to something inside my home directory.
