(solved) Fba 2012 dat file?

Hi, I not able to find the right romset for fba 2012 (2.97.24) So I would to try with clearmamepro and a full set I have 0.149 mame witch seem to approch the 0.145 mame romset used for the 2.97.24 revision. My problem is to find the dat file of fba 2012 in order to rebuild a right romset with clearmamepro. Is someone could share it ? It would be marvelous Thanks

Hi thank for your tip gretly appreciated. But the link seem to talk about FB Alpha v0.2.97.30 revision. I read that fba 2012 core use the 2.97.24 romset. I would to recreate exactly this romset Thanks

I see.

You can download any older version of FB Alpha and generate a DAT file from the GUI.

So, maybe some clarity on what FB Alpha 2012 corresponds to is needed. I have found four different versions referenced:

  • As referenced above, the RetroPie wiki states that it is v0.2.97.30
  • The github main page states that it is 0.2.97.24
  • This commit states that it is actually v0.2.97.29
  • The main core info file states that it is v0.2.97.29 also. However, the split CPS1/CPS2 info files say v0.2.97.28

Personally I have had no issues with the DAT file link to by RetroPie, albeit tested with only a handful of CPS1 / CPS2 roms.
