[SOLVED] RetroArch Input bug

Hello good people,

Today, while testing RetroArch, I came to a funny input bug I cannot solve. After auto configured controller, I manually went through mapping buttons to my liking. After that I noticed down, left,up,right buttons are behaving as if I am pressing X,Square,Triangle,Circle at the same time (down = down+X and so on). I am using a PSX like controller, but tested it on SNES and Sega Genesis roms, which is not relevant, since I am pretty sure it is not console specific. Can enyone tell me what I can do? thanks… :sunny:

I had sometime the same problem.

The inputs for player 2 had the same device set as player 1.
So i endet up with X+X, Y+Y, B+B and so on.
Maybe it is the same thing on your side?

Unfortunatelly, no. I set max number of users to 2 and binds for second user binds are completely empty. On other emus, controller works as expected. I tried also disabling autoconfigure so it doesnt mess something up when loading roms by accident, but no luck for now.

! SOLVED ! Alright, by trying out different options I have found a solution! :sunny::sunny::sunny: If anyone in has simillar problem, you can try what I did or what @ImnoTapLumber mentioned in post above. So, under Settings > Input disable remap binds for this core and then everything works normal. I overlooked this option at first, but now only what I configured for controller will be mapped and there will be no remapping to mess your binds. Possible reason: a controller which is not following some standard or is a clone, maybe.
