[SOLVED] Save Game Compatibility - HELP

Hello,

I was using Mupenplus AE to emulate N64 games on my Ouya but now I am trying RetroArch with similar core (MupenPlus). The problem is that on MupenPlus Ae the gamesave was in eep and mpk format files and Retroarch uses SRM. There is any way to import my old save games?

Thanks for your time

Does the emulator load the file if you copy and rename the copy to have .srm as its extension? Ideally, these save files should just be raw save data as would normally be stored in the battery ram in the cartridge or the n64 controller memory card. I am not entirely sure if they actually are, but that’s what I would personally try in your situation.

I did it. Changed the mpk file to srm but doesnt word. Retroarch doesn’t load the save and replace with a new one.

ok, I just changed the eep file to SRM and not the mpk file and worked. Thanks

Hey! I’m glad you figured it out.
