Stable frametime on Retroarch?

What’s preventing someone from setting their cap to 60.1 or 61fps or 70fps? Also, if someone has a 60Hz display its only going to go up to the max it can handle regardless which may or may not be exactly 60.000Hz.

Remember Auto Frame Delay is not required nor recommended if using VRR/GSYNC/FREESYNC/Sync To Content Refresh Rate.

it would be better if Retroarch supported internal frame cap for non-vrr monitors and saved it in individual core override options

but really, this is more useful for 3d games in vrr. Or else one is also forced to switch the refresh rate in monitor settings.
