I still cant map the back button on the nvidia shield portable to access the menu. When I hit the back button in hotkey inputs, i get the message
gpio-keys configured in port #1
Anyone? Suggestions?
The latest nightlies makes the back button open up the menu now, but they have a bunch of other problems not found in older builds. My suggestion is to map the start button instead for the quick menu for now, at least that works for me.
The current code has a new hack to allow this to work well, it’s auto mapped to “menu toggle” but you can unmap it just fine. You might have to “long press” back since it’s a different device being rigged to port 1 but it works fine now (I bought a shield portable last week)
I mapped it to a different button but i will try the long press like you said.
