Strange freezing bug with bsnes cores

Just wanted to share an odd bug I’ve encountered with all the bsnes cores. If you have rewind enabled in RA and try to load a special chip game that requires the DSP files, it freezes up entirely for some reason. No crash error or anything in the log, RA just locks up. Only happens with special chip games too like Mario Kart or Pilotwings. They load and run fine if you have rewind disabled beforehand.

What’s odd is the bsnes cores obviously have rewind support, you can even re-enable it once a special chip game has loaded and they’ll rewind just fine. Any reason why this happens?
