Support for Old Computer Emulators

These are more obscure emulators, sure. But is there any plans to incorporate emulators for older computers, such as Sharp X6800 or MSX2?

Yes, I played on MSX as a kid (it was surprisingly popular in Holland) so a BlueMSX port is something I’ve been wanting to do for some time now.

However, I can’t give you an exact ETA.

If anybody can beat me to the punch with a libretro port of it, I would be happy to help and get it working on all consoles. If not, you’ll have to wait until I get around to doing it.

Excellent. There are other options that BlueMSX has which I’m not sure how to fit into Retroarch. To get Metal Gear working for instance I had to set it to a specific version of MSX to emulate. Also I can’t figure out how to set more than 2 buttons for the joystick in BlueMSX, and have to rely upon the keyboard for pausing and saving.

Don’t forget other obscure computers such as the X68000. Lots of great obscure games, and I can’t seem to find an emulator that works for it. One of the better known games over here would be Akumajou Dracula (X68000). Lots of other great arcade perfect ports with very high quality graphics and music.
