Tablet not able to install RetroArch Plus

Hi, I tried to install RetroArch Plus in my Android tablet. Its’s a Samsung Tab A 10.1 2019. I use it very well for using Retroarch so far.

But when trying to install the RetroArch Plus it says that the app is not compatible with the device. Image added

However, my phone with also Android 10 is able to install it.

I wonder if besides the Android version (it says from 8 to up), is there another restriction to install RetroArch Plus.

Of course, I know that I can download 1.9.1 (when available) and sideload, but I find it’s a bit easier to maintain using the Play Store feature to update.

Cheers and thanks in advance.

Hmm, weird. There shouldn’t be any other restrictions, at least as far as we know. We’ll look into it. Thanks for the heads-up.

In case you need more info, let me know. The phone is a Huawei Y9 Prime 2019. Android 10. Kernel 4.14.116

Thanks in advance

There are no other limitations for downloading RetroArch Plus. It’s likely that you were running into some caching issues with the Play Store listing. My guess is that your device is running a 32-bit version of Android and it was still trying to download the old 64-bit version, since RetroArch Plus replaces that app’s listing. Try restarting your device, then try downloading RetroArch Plus again.

Sounds plausible. Let me try it.

In case the issue is still present, Is there a way to check if my Android device is running 32 or 64 bit OS?

Restarting the device worked, I include the screenshot as proof.

I recommend to mention that if the device does have Android 8 or up, and the RetroArch Plus appears as not available, restart the device to see if it enables it to install.

Thanks for the answers
