Thoughts about next update(s)

I 've downloaded retroarch (android) and it is really nice. Here are some thoughts about possible future updates and questions though:

  1. In Select Liberto core page almost all cores are in random order. In my opinion you should add an order by emulator machine (e.g all snes cores together, all nes cores together). The most important thing is that you should give the ability to the user to add/remove from the page the cores that doesn’t want. (e.g i only want to play mame games. Why should i see all the other cores??)

  2. Retropad overlays (high resolution) are prety good but are small (at least in my galaxy s 3). Can you increase the size of them? (For lower resolutions are quite big though) !!

  3. When trying to play neo geo games (through final burn alpha core) there is a corrupted green screen and then the flying neo geo logo appears. Can you fix the corrupted screen in next updates?

P.S I beleive playstation/neogeo cores need a boost:( Many games (like tekken, soul blade etc) even in high-end android phones (like GS3) have frame skipping probs.

Generally speaking this is a great app. Take into consideration my thoughts if you can. We are waiting for your next updates !

Cheers!

For 3), noob alert !

Have you ever powered on a real neo geo even once in your life ?

Probably not. Louis CK is right, we have amazing technologies wasted on the worse generation possible…

My friend…if you have ever downloaded this app for neogeo roms https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.explusalpha.NeoEmu (Robert Broglia’s app) and you load a rom, you will see that there is NO SUCH A CORRUPTED GREEN screen. So, there is a way i think…

Besides these are just my thoughts about future updates;)

a real neogeo boots like that, theres no error there, its called accurated emulation.

Yes i did it. But the scale (overlay scale) doesnt work properly.

It scales the d-pad+button outwards (it “scales” the layout in a diagonial down+left way making the layout disapearing from the screen ----> the proper way is to scale them in a diagonial up+right way i think).

I thing this is a bug:)

I would like to know if you can say anything about of if (when jailbreaked) retroarch would run on iOS 7 and if or. If you know if it takes long to make it work or not ((retroarch is one of my top 5 reasons to jb)

And how n64 is going :stuck_out_tongue:
