I noticed that in the list of auto detected devices that the CCP Wii IME input method was supported; however, if I have auto detect on and start a game, as soon as I press any button, the emulator will freeze. I can get it to unfreeze by pressing the Android settings button (or whatever it’s called). After this everything starts going down the drain and I have to restart.
I’ve also tried not using auto detect and simply using the keymapping feature of the IME to set the input device manually in Retroarch. Unfortunately I still have the same problem. The IME itself appears to work in Android because I can use it to type with the controller.
I’ve tried using the BluezIME to connect my Wii remote but apparenlty it’s not compatible in 2.3 or with my device. I’ve also tried using a dual shock 3 using the sixaxis utility but for whatever reason it does not want to pair with my device, even after setting the bluetooth master using sixpair in linux.
I’m on a stock rom right now but hopefully CM7 will be released for my device sometime soon so I could try that.
Anyway, very good emulator on PC.

edit: Well I installed another ROM and still got the same problems. I’ve also noticed now that I can’t use the onscreen controls either because for some strange reason, the emulator quits out within a few button presses. I know I’m not touching any of the capacitive buttons either because it happened when I was just pushing a direction on the d-pad which is on the opposite side of the screen. I’m not sure what all that’s about.
