U-Stealth support

There are many of Wii U owners who use the U-Stealth tool to rid off a tiresome nag question to reformat HDD drive for a Wii U’s needs. More info on this soft is here: http://gbatemp.net/threads/ustealth-wii … nd.352786/

But when you do this you have to recompile all your homebrew software to make it compatible. As this tool is more & more popular among the Wii U community so is there any chance to receive a RetroArch’s builds compatible with this alternate boot record?

So, all that’s needed is to compile the binaries with that alternate libfat? Is there anything else required?

hunterk, yes it is, only the alternate libfat is required.

I know this is a very old topic, but RetroArch still does not support UStealth, does it?? Would it be possible for you developers to make it compatible in future releases??

All that would need to be done is use a modified libfat library to compile http://www.mediafire.com/download/9d1ffxo16kc1gmq/libfatmod.zip . Perhaps someone could recompile the latest stable?? I would try it myself but im still too much a noob

Thanks!

Hi, I know this is an old as fvck thread but I was wondering if this got ever implemented? I would like to dump my huge collection to play on my Wii U but my SD is not big enough. Having the ability to have the roms on my external and the emus and settings on the SD would be god sent… Like in the good ol days of the Wii.

I think it was…? I guess the best way to find out is to try it.
