Um I need help

(no Hunterk this is not the same problem)

how do I map the control sticks Axises on a playstation controller?

It’s part of the ‘bind all’ process.

If you mean ‘how do I enable analogs in PSX games that support them?’ you’ll need to go into the core options (that is, load the core, load the game, go back into the quickmenu and look for ‘core options’) and enable ‘dualshock analog toggle’ and also go into the settings > input and change ‘User 1 Device Type’ from ‘PS1 Joypad’ to ‘Dual Analog’.

I mean how do I bind (for example) left analog x+ and left analog x- to the left analog stick on my dual shock controller

I’m not sure I follow. Generally, you just hit ‘bind all’ and then when the ‘analog x+’ prompt comes along, you move the left stick…

it doesn’t work

What controller is it, exactly? A Dualshock 3? If so, are you using an xinput wrapper?

yes dualshock 3 and what is a “xinput wrapper”

it’s a program that takes the input from the DS3 and presents it to the OS as an xinput-compatible controller (which the DS3 isn’t, typically). I think this one should make the autoconfig profiles work: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

…so basically an emulator

More like a translator, but emulator isn’t too far off

like motion in joy? here’s a link if you don’t know what it is
