Unable to Bind "Menu" with Xbox One S Controller

My Smarptone : Samsung J7 2017 Android 8.1.0

I’am using Xbox One S Controller, this controller is well recognized by retroarch (I did not need to bind the keys to play the games), But it is impossible to configure a key to display the menu of retroarch Here’s what I’ve done so far :

  • Configuration / Input / Menu Toogle Gamepad Combo : L+R, but when I Press L+R but I dont have Menu when I press L+R (same thing with L3+R3 ro Select + Start)
  • Configuration / Input / Input Hotkey Bind / Enable HotKey : I press a Key on my gamepad, retroarch show “4 (N/A)”, but I dont have Menu with this key
  • Configuration / Input / Input Hotkey Bind / Menu Toggle : I press a Key on my gamepad, retroarch show “4 (N/A)”, but I dont have Menu with this key
  • Restart Smartphone, Retstart Gamepad Controller : Same problem

I have another Controller : 8 BitDo SFC30 : This controller works fine (automatically recognized menu key)

How can I access the menu with my Xbox One S controller ?

sorry for the inconvenience, it was a problem related to DIG (frontend).

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

I think that DIG loads a pre-defined configuration to Retroarch (the options I’m doing in Retroarch have to be redone when I run a game from DIG)

Hello I have the same problem. I don’t know what is DIG. I have a Xbox1 controller on Windows 10. While playing a Colecovision Game, if I press the controller’s “menu” button, I don’t see the Retroarch toggle menu. Nothing happens. HELP!! Thanks, David
