Unable to run Doom

I’ve downloaded the PrBoom Core & the DOOM.wad, but when I try to run it, be it via trying to run it through the PrBoom menu, or by loading content, does anybody know anything I can try to do to fix it?

you need the prboom.wad in the same directory as the doom.wad

It looks like it doesn’t like your DOOM.WAD. Can you try loading the shareware Doom from the ‘add content’ menu and see if that runs?
