Hi friends I am currently using 1.x ver and with frontend Hyperspin on my arcade machine. What is the easiest way to upgrade to latest without spoiling my current setups?
Normally, the easiest way to update is to just download the latest nightly from buildbot.libretro.com and grab the executables (retroarch.exe and retroarch_debug.exe) and overwrite your old versions (it’s good to make a backup of the old ones in case something goes wrong). However, since you’re using a very old version, we’ve added a couple of dependencies that you’ll need to get, too, so you’ll need to download the “redist” package, as well. Unzip it and drop all of those libraries into your retroarch directory, overwriting any duplicate files.
That should get you fixed up.
