One of my favourite features of RetroArch is that it allows my to keep savefiles and savestates in the same directory as my ROMs, making library management really easy.
A option to set the boxarts directory to the content directory would make library management easier again, I would really like to keep everything for a game in one location.
OR
The ability to specify what file to use as boxart in the playlists file, this would make displaying boxarts more flexible.
I’m currently using symbolic links to keep my boxart in the content directory, with a link to the file in the boxart directory. It works fine, but each file needs to be linked manually.
Speaking of playlists, I’m still trying to workout how to use them. The directory scan give no results, so I’m trying to create playlists manually. I can’t find any proper documentation on the syntax of playlists files, so I’d really appreciate some help with that.
