Video corruption in SNES9X Core?

Since updating to 1.0.0, I’ve been getting this problem in most SNES games:

This is Pop’n Twinbee: Rainbow Bell Adventure. Some games are obviously worse than others. It covers half the map in Super Mario World, shows up on Bubsy’s level title card, blocks SuperFX objects in Yoshi’s Island, etc.

I figured something so prevalent would be fixed in 1.0.0.1, but I just updated to 1.0.0.2 and it’s still there. It only effects SNES9X Next; none of the other cores display this problem. I’ve tried deleting the associated SNES9x config file (or at least, what I thought was the associated config file) in the hopes that it was some vestigial setting, but that doesn’t seem to have helped.

Any thoughts on what to do?

Edit: In case it wasn’t clear, this is the Wii version, on a real Wii. Connected to a TV using a component cable.

Check if this helps you.

It has something to do with Overscan option enabled

That worked! I did a cursory search before posting, but that didn’t come up, for some reason.
