Vulkan has issues

Windows 10 x64, GTX 1080 graphics, just updated to the latest drivers today.

Screen tearing is really bad in vulkan. On 3d games it is annoying. On 2d games you get judder.

I found old threads saying that the graphics driver for nvidia was borked, so I updated today it is still a problem.

Retroarch v 1.6.4 with vulkan runs. Retroarch 1.7.1 crashes, I think because I adjusted something in the video scaling which it can’t handle either.

Is there any remedy for this? Tested with parrallel 64 and angrylion.

When I try Vulkan mode on Windows 10 with Skylake graphics, I see a ginormous black tearline (like 60+ pixels tall) in the middle of the screen. In its current state, vulkan mode is completely unusable on my system.

I noticed worse performance and input lag with Vulkan on Windows 10 than with OpenGL with a GeForce 1080, too. I switched back to OpenGL.
