Vulkan Visual Bug with Prefer Layered

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

No shaders, no filters, just pure Integer Scaled Columns menu, looking very wrong on Vulkan. Not an issue on GLcore or D3D1X

My nVidia Control Panel:

Changing the Vulkan Present Method to Native fixes it, but that breaks HDR stuff and also I then can’t take screenshots properly. I didn’t notice this issue until very recently, somewhat because the CRT shaders do a decent job of hiding this glitch.

It’s a problem with the most recent nvidia driver. You can revert to the previous version to fix it.

There were new nvidia drivers yesterday… not sure if that helps or if those were the culprits.

Why not just leave it on “Prefer Native” globally or just for RetroArch.exe and any other software that doesn’t play nicely with “Prefer Layered on DXGI swapchain”?

I haven’t used it in a while, but I think WindowCast has some dependency on DXGI swapchain in RA. He might be setting it for that.
