Vulkan vs opengl

I have a moto g4 plus and it is about to get android 7 with vulkan support.

So how much of a speed boost can I expect from that.

The boost on 3d cores and framebuffer cores has to be different so please list both separate instead of an average.

I am able to set my audio latency much lower with the vulkan driver, which is nice, but yeah, the benefits are not as tangible as fps increases, unfortunately.

Does vulkan do anything about the stuttering and audio crackling problems people have experienced in Android?

I only have experience with my Shield ATV, which doesn’t have significant issues even with OpenGL, but yeah, it should.

You have more chances fixing stuttering issues by manually changing the refresh rate inside Retroarch and using CPU performance governor than relying on Vulkan atm.
