If I am using RA on a PS3, do I need these things? what are they? right now I transfer them all over with the rest of the game ROMs. can I just delete them?
It depends. Some cores/games need BIOS images. For MAME, at least, they usually just need to be alongside the ROMs instead of in the ‘system’/BIOS folder like most cores require.
