Sounds crazy enough to be interesting, right?
I don’t think anybody’s tried to run at least a GameBoy Emulator on any non-Kindle eBook Reader today.
So I ask you: “Is it possible?”

You should be able to. Most readers use an Android OS. I managed to hack my Nook to allow apps from the play store. (I actually installed the Kindle app .) Problem is the screen refresh rate would make anything unplayable.
What about these guys?
The newer models usually have a fantastic refresh rate (or so I’ve seen), even some of them come with coloured screens, and video support of all things…
Maybe this is a chance to make a new e-reader optimised UI/high-contrast monochrome theme, or something…
I’ve got a Kobo and fantastic is a relative term. I still think you would get dramatic ghosting.
Would be fun to try though.
