11 views so far and no one has bothered helping you, just sad… … Anyways, I remember your user icon; you’re the one who had problems using RA on a jailbroken device; it’s good that you’re jailbroken now. Here, check this link for general information regarding RA, it’ll let you know where to put your bios along with other general stuff:
http://www.libretro.com/index.php/wiki/configuration/
The folder you’ll be looking for is “.RetroArch”, it can be found in the “Documents” folder. var->mobile->Documents->.RetroArch. This is where you put your bios files.
Put it in whichever directory you have setup as your ‘system’ directory in your path settings.
Also, if you haven’t already done so, I suggest you install ‘ifile’ from cydia. It will let you browse the internal file system of your device. From there, you can move around files, etc. Make sure you also have ‘apple file conduit “2”’ installed as well. This will allow programs like iexplorer to gain root acces to your device which you’ll need to even get into the .RetroArch folder among other things. Another good suggestion after you’ve installed ifile is to install either “safari download enabler” or “safari downloader+”, which lets you download a multitude of different file types on safari straight onto your device. From there, you can access the files on ifile and move them around anywhere. If you’ve already done all this, then you can disregard this message. Lol
Thank you so much, all of you, you have been very helpful, It’s my first time with a Jail Broken device using Pangu, as Evasi0n hasn’t yet released 7.1.1 yet so, thank you a bunch though
No problem, it seemed like it was your first jailbreak. If you have any additional questions regarding retroarch or emulators, feel free to ask. If you have any other questions regarding jailbreaking itself and the possibilities or any recommendation for tweaks and such, check out this site.
I’m not really a reddit fan, but thank you a heap for the help and assistance
Neither am I. Lol though I did find that it can be pretty useful for finding out on new tweaks and stuff, especially some really good ones, for jailbroken devices; and besides game emulation (which is the main reason I jailbroke my very first device, the 1st gen iPod touch in 2008), I’m all for finding out more new and cool/useful tweaks that allow jailbroken device to be even waaayy better. Anyways, enjoy your jailbroken device!
