¿Where's the latest RetroArch icon?

Yesterday i bought an iPad Air, and came with iOS 7.0.4 so i took advantage of it and installed the latest build of retroarchn, when finished installing it, appears the old logo instead of the blue one. Can someone help me figure out this? Only happens on iPad. (That also happened on my iPad 4 with pangu, but i thought was because of iOS 7.1.2 jailbreak)

Same here, ive had the old icon since I installed it, I jut thought they didnt update it

But I have seen the blue one a few times, i think only when in the App Switcher

I have the solution! What you have to do, is… Go to iFile-Applications-RetroArch.app-Erase icon172 something like that(That is the old one). Once erased reboot you iDevice and you are good to go.

^ yeah, that worked!

Thanks

But it hasnt ‘actually’ been updated for iOS 7, app icons for iOS 7 are a little more rounded, I can see some dark parts around the icon.

I did some other steps for new icon:

  1. Deleted Icon-72.png
  2. Renamed icon.png to Icon.png (I dunno if it makes any sense)
  3. Copied and renamed Icon.png to Icon-72.png
  4. In /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.IconsCache deleted file libretro.RetroArch_defaultRole-defaultIcon-34
  5. Respring XX. ???
  6. Profit!

I have the old icon on my ipad, and the new one on my iphone. I remember reading somewhere when the release came out that that was intentional.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t change it to anything you want via ifile
