Well i am on HTC One playing Ff8 . I am on cd 3 and no issues so far, everything runs really good , but now i am on lunar Base and watched the sequence of tear of the moon and after that i cant move squall anymore. Neither menue is opening nor he is moving. Amy ideas? I tried to change overlay ingame but No reaction though. :(((
I do hope you’re using a PS1 BIOS.
I played ff7 till the end wthout problems
Ff8 did well until now as well
I use 1001,5500,5502 and 7502 and like i said before the game ran fullspeed at any time until now .40h gameplay in cd3
And now i cant move the character after a cutscene
I tried another Rom of the game and Same issue 
Makes me said cause the main game juststarts after this episode of the game and i cant get there as it seems
Btw the game isnt freezing cause the npcs are still moving and the Lights are flackering only thing is i cant move squall anymore after this cutscene
I have the same problem. I’m gonna wait until the next update. I would maybe try finding a game save for the lunar base and playing it on the pc. I’m still hoping for a solution though.

Found it. Ingame core then PAL but… Didnt work
