I have successfully been using Retroarch on my iPad 4, running jailbroken (by Pangu) iOS 7.1.2, playing N64 and PSX games without issue (minus the slight amount of lag here and there), all the while using my Wiimote + Classic Controller.
Today, however, is a different story. Upon opening the app, connecting the Wiimote, and turning a game on, I can load my save state and play for about 15 seconds before the Wiimote stops functioning. The light is still on the controller, and the BTstack icon in the upper right is lit, but the controller won’t function. The onscreen buttons function just fine, but the controller won’t.
I have restarted the iPad numerous times, uninstalled and reinstalled BTstack numerous times, resprung, etc., but I can’t seem to fix the issue. Now when I load a PSX game, Retroarch will sometimes immediately crash, but intermittently work again.
I’m thinking this has something to do with BTstack.
Any thoughts?
