WikiPad - needs additional axises for mapping

I have to say, everyone involved with RetroArch has done an amazing job. I’ve tosses several games into the program and they all function at full speed on my Wikipad 7 android device, a feat to behold.

Though, when I have tried to map controls to functions on RetroArch, not every control on the Wikipad gamepad is mappable or mapped properly.

I first tried to map the L2 & R2 triggers in keymapping, but nothing was ever found or detected. So then I tried to use the L2 & R2 analog triggers in debug mode with an emulated game running, and it displays the Pad 0: x #, y#, z #, rz #, on the screen, but none of them are changing. So, RetroArch is detecting a button being pressed, but isn’t mapping it, or isn’t detecting whatever axis L2 & R2 use.

Also, when mapping the digital Dpad, it gets detected as DPAD UP, but in reality, it is mapped to up on the left analog stick. And using the digital dpad with the emulator running, it displays the Pad 0: x #, y#, z #, rz #, on the screen, just like with the analog triggers, but again, no numbers are moving at all. All other buttons and analog controls (including the forward, back, and button presses on the analog sticks) appear to map and function without issue.

So in summary, I’m unable to map the L2 & R2 analog triggers and the digital dpad maps to the left analog stick on the wikipad 7 controller with the wikipad7. I’m willing to help out in any way that is possible, just tell me what you need me to do and I’ll do it.

Thank you in advance for any help that may be provided.

Tried to find some good pictures on the net that shows the pad & analog controls, incase no one is familiar with the device, but this is the best that I could find from : http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/wikipad-android-gaming-tablet-review-and-giveaway/

In the vane attempt to bump this post, I’m posting up the input reporting for all the keys that I’m getting information back on. But again, the Dpad and analog triggers, the input reporting message does display on the screen, but none of the values change. If there is anything that I can do to assist with this, please tell me. Thank you
