Will the new Supermodel core be available for Android Devices?

Will the new Supermodel core be available to android users?(Nvidia shield tv etc) Android users are starting to feel left behind, nobody expects Citra on Android, but cores that already have android ports should have be available,ie reicast, dolphin etc…Supermodel has never been ported to Android, although many of us have been waiting for it for years,so it will be a first if you guys can pull that off

Please stop repeating this because it’s not true. Just because a standalone program exists for Android doesn’t mean the libretro core is automatically going to work on Android, as well. A lot of things can and do change when a program operates as a dynamic library (i.e., like all libretro cores), typically related to dynamic recompilers, which advanced/modern emulators like Reicast and Dolphin rely on for speed. Furthermore, even if a dynarec is PIC-compliant, Android’s ever-changing security policies make it more complicated by disallowing some of the actions that many dynarecs depend on. And if the dynarec(s) don’t work, there’s not much point in distributing an Android build of a core that’s going to run 1-2 fps or worse (or maybe not at all).

So, with all of that said: if we can make it build and work at a usable speed on Android, then yes, it will be available for Android. We (the main contributors) all have Android devices and nobody wants to see new cores available for them more than we do.
