WonderSwan Core Question

The mednafen wonderswan core works great on android but it does not seem to have any core options like the windows emulator Oswan to apply color or palettes to black and white ws games. Anyone knows of any way to add color to the b&w games in the ws mednafen core? Or maybe what shaders I can use? Do you think those features could be added to the core?

If they’re exposed in standalone mednafen they could potentially be added as core options. Otherwise, you can use the misc/color-mangler shader to colorize things manually.

Thanks man, where exactly is that shader? In the misc folder of the shaders_glsl folder only cardboard-vr.glslp appears, I already updated the shaders using the online updater.

It’s in misc, but it’s an individual glsl shader rather than a glslp preset. So, to load it, instead of going to ‘load shader preset,’ you need to increment the number of passes and then go to the shader line and navigate to it. You will need to be able to change the parameters, though, which has been spotty of late (turning off threaded video seems to avoid crashes in that menu but the parameters may or may not be there…).

Thanks a lot, sadly just selecting and applying the shader does not do anything, selecting menu shader parameters crashes retroarch, turning off threaded video fixes the crash but no parameters appear like you said. Any other ways?

Hope someone finds a fix. Maybe the bug killer diablodiab could XD
