Works on Amazon Fire TV (needs controller help)

Retroarch arm7 v1.0.0.2-r34 works great except for the amazon fire tv game remote (the XboX 360 remote works fine with it though). The amazon fire tv game pad gets recognized but the buttons do not work. Any chance of adding support for the amazon game controller?

Did you try disabling autoconfiguration and binding the buttons manually?

I tried to manually configuring the controller. All the buttons allow me to map except for the L2 and R2. When I push those buttons they dont register when I try to bind them. Everything else binded though and I was able to play snes with the amazon fire tv remote.

How did you get it installed? I’ve tried side loading via ADB several times and just get a “EOCD not found, not Zip” error each time.]

[edit] Nevermind. The APK from Google Play was giving me the error, but the download from the project site worked fine.

Yes sorry, I got mine directly from libretro site. I was having the same error with the google play version.

You should follow the instruction in this thread:

I think that will get the Fire controllers added with auto configuration and R2/L2 working if they are still adding controllers. New versions of retroarch aren’t released too often so it may be awhile before a version that has the controller implemented is released.
