XBOX controller to Windows 10, anyone done it?

Hey guys, so I am dying to get my XBOX controller connected to Windows 10. I bought a mayflash adapter, but the drivers it came with (and on the site) didn’t do anything…

So I am wondering if anyone else has this working? I’d love to use this is it was basically the last 6 button controller ever made.

Just to be clear, I’m talking about an XBOX controller, not Xbox 360 or Xbox One.

If your XBOX controller is USB\VID_045E&PID_0202, you can install MotionInJoy then use Better DS3 to configure it.

Just disable Driver Signature Enforcement so that you can install the driver.

Um… what? lol Sorry I’m not familiar with what you’re telling me. Most of my controllers just pop up as “USB Gamepad” or something, and then I configure them with Xpadder. The XBOX controller doesn’t show up at all though :(. It’s like I’ve plugged nothing in.

You can install this software to get VendorID and ProductID, otherwise you need to open device manager and find the device. You can follow this tutorial.

If your Xbox 360 wireless controller won’t be recognised or isn’t detected by Windows 10, I will show you a quick and easy fix to this issue. This fix will require no downloads or installs so you don’t even need to be connected to the internet! Thanks, but this is about the XBOX, not X360, or X1.

if your controller is listed in this inf file, you can use the MotionInJoy driver.
