How do i connect my Raspberry Pi to a rgb tv?

Is it possible? Please let me know Also another question while i’m at it, not all of my games are scanning and it does not detect amiga games, why?

You would need an HDMI to VGA to SCART adapter, or a pi2SCART from arcadeforge or something similar.

If games aren’t getting picked up by the scans, they must not match our databases. That’s fine, and you can use an external utility like playlistbuddy to make them.

I would not recommend HDMI to Vga to Scart. Pi2scart is a good option for Europe or Rgb modified NTSC tv’s but it does not support the full rgb color space.

I would highly recommend www.retrotink.com instead.

RetroRGB recently made a comparison video of all the different solutions to connect a Raspberry pi to CRT TVs here:

There is also a great in depth interview with Mike Chi the creator of RetroTINK here also on RetroRGB

is there a playlist buddy for linux? or do i need to use wine?

I don’t know, actually. I don’t personally use the playlists at all. FAKEDIT: Looks like Windows-only:

You would need to use Wine. If you try Wine could you let me know how it works for you?
