Lakka 2.1 rc3 supported mame cores

hello, in the news page is reported that lakka 2.1 rc3 support “all the mame cores” what it mean exactly? is mame 2016 supported? if yes what’s the name of the core? thanks

hello, i think lakka should support all of the mame-cores (at least for x64 systems!). just download and put the core into “Cores”-Folder. putting samples-folder to “System”.

unfortunaly the MAME2016-Core disappears from the buildbot few days after release every time !? but maybe you can use the “current” core (mame_libretro) oder Mame2014(mame2014_libretro) instead… or anyone can share with you the latest Mame2016-Core (from july-23) …

here is a link for the x64-Linux Cores (needed for lakka on machines based on x64 hardware… ).

If you have another device (like rasberry, odroid, android-box) you can check out for the right one here…

For Playlist you can use this 3rd Party Tool - at least until the next lakka update*

(*) markwkidd is working on a scanner and this one is ready for testing as fas as i know, but lakka has no online-updater for the needed database entrys. with the next lakka-update it could work for you nearly out of the box, i suggest).

excuse me very much for my terrible english
