1.2 for iOS

Well, forget about Split View, but how about Slide Over? This is really huge for me.

That only really lets you interact with one app at a time? And it’ll be very narrow and tall.

Still, fast peek on txt with walkthrough or something like that

Lol forget split-view, let’s just get a working updated version of the emulator working on the new iPhones/iPads and iOS 9 before we worry about small features like split-view.

Yup. 1.0.0.1 still being the latest version in a primary repo isn’t good.

Tell me, what in your assets are all sorts of decorations, such as menu backgrounds? It’s still not picked up and the menu looks as always.

Hi! Tell me please. I have ipad air 2, iOS 8.3 jailbreak. Which version RetroArсh better to install? .deb or .ipa?

Use this IPA is from Zero, it will work. Use Retroarch9 if jailbroken and follow instructions(ReadMe) https://www.dropbox.com/s/b379hbmarjlwxvj/asvwjtjb.rar?dl=0

Which version is that? The IPA says 1.1.0.0, which I don’t think is remotely recent.

We can code or we can do PR/community management, not both, we’re quite shorthanded Nightlies are out already you know? http://www.libretro.com/index.php/new-nightlies/

It’s not working on iOS 9 but the last iOS 8 tester I asked said it’s working fine. Stables… they are a thing out of the past, we might never release stable’s again, just point releases when it’s relevant. IDK nothing has been decided but a rolling release works better for us.

Did not know about this, but this is exactly what us iOS users have been looking for. We’ve never seen anything newer than 1.0.0.1 until now. This is great.

I tested the repo source on both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s jail broken on 9.02 (Pangu). In the repo provided, the iPhone did not even show any packages under Cydia even after a refresh. With my iPad the retro arch package did show, I installed it, and unfortunately it crashes after the splash screen when trying to load the app. Not an expert on permissions and things like that, but any suggestions?

The bottom of the page says “Note: We know it’s not working on iOS9.”

Sorry i missed that :frowning:

1.0.0.1?

The latest stable for iOS is 1.0.0.2.1 which is compatible with iOS 8.4 ( With troubles accessing FrontEnd which is bypassable with a simple text document)

1.2.x and so on is basically RetroArch v2.0 in simple terms with the new, snazzy UI which is quite sexy I might add. It looks like a PSP.

I meant in terms of a simple download-and-go package. 1.0.0.1 is still the latest version in the BigBoss repo:
